Filoplume
Translation
Caroline Gex received her diploma in translation from the School of Translation and Interpreting (ETI) of the University of Geneva. She worked for a number of years in the Federal Office of Communication (OFCOM), among other posts, and has also pursued an independent career as translator and editorial proofreader.
Sandrine Seidel is a biologist with a diploma from the University of Lausanne. She has worked for BirdLife Switzerland, the School of Agricultural, Forest and Food Sciences HAFL, and for the Federal Administration (OFS), while continuing to pursue field research.
Both have often had the occasion to combine biology and translation in their respective careers, for example in mandates for BirdLife Switzerland, Pro Specie Rara, the
Swiss Ornithological Institute in Sempach, the Swiss National Parc, myclimate.org, the Direction of Public Economy of the canton of Berne, or the University of Neuchâtel (“Rousseau botaniste”).

Translation:
From CHF 3.60 to 4.60 per line of 55 characters including spaces, according to the complexity of the text.
A surcharge of 50% may be applied in the case of urgent mandates requiring night work (after 7 pm) or work on weekends or holidays.
Tariffs are calculated on the basis of the original text.
A minimum of CHF 75.- is charged for every order.
Revision, correction, rewriting:
CHF 90.- per hour
